Hickory Body of Christ

God is calling the Body of Christ to gather.  He is about to establish a "permanent" Sanctuary in the city of Hickory.  This will not be a divine visitation or a passing revival, but a Company of Believers who follow the Lamb wherever He goes.  Jesus is now calling His People to Himself.  Those who are fully His will give heed to His call, and there will be one Flock with one Shepherd over them.  Thus God will have a strong Testimony in the Hickory area, and it will be both beautiful and powerful, and prosper as never before.  He will bring it to pass, and it will be soon.

      FURTHER EXPLANATION OF GOD'S BURDEN AND MESSAGE

1.  God is on a great Mission and has a great Message.  An enormous disruption took place in the universe when God's archangel, Lucifer, fell into pride and rebelled against Almighty God.  God could have eliminated Satan with just a thought, but He had a better idea.

2.  God had lost a sizable portion of His Kingdom when Satan rebelled and took 1\3 of the angels with him.

3.  God's idea was to create man, a weak creature, to overcome Satan, and the kingdom of darkness, a far superior force, by humbly depending on God's life, the Infinite Source.

4.  Satan caused God's instrument to partake of his nature, and, therefore, eliminate man as a threat to overcome him.

5.  God foresaw all these events, and had prepared a 2nd Adam who would not eat from the wrong tree.

6.  Jesus Christ never once depended on Himself, but perfectly did the will of the Father even unto death, thereby becoming the Sacrificial Lamb of God.  God solved 2 problems:  #1.  Man's sin and separation from God.  #2.  Man's access to Overcoming, Divine Life.

7.  Man once again restored to accomplish God's original plan - to use a weak vessel to overcome a vastly superior vessel through submission and dependance on God - now, the Corporate Man, could do so as His Son did.

8.  What Jesus, the Head, started, He enabled His People, the Body, to finish - to cast Satan down, and regain the Kingdom.

9.  First Christ as our Savior, then Christ as our Life.  WE ARE AND BECOME WHAT WE EAT.  We literally are changed into His likeness.  We become Bone of His Bone, and Flesh of His Flesh.  We become the very Expression of Christ, as and if, we daily partake of Him.  It is a mysterious and Supernatural transfer, God Incarnate once again.  It is only those, that qualify to be His Body, and that God will draw together.

10.  The Church, the Corporate Body of Christ, who's Head is Christ, is the same Overcoming Expression that Christ was when He was on the earth.  We have the same Invincible, Divine Nature.  Our triumph is guaranteed!   We, the Corporate Church, are the dominate spiritual force in our city.  The Testimony will be strong and clear.

11.  The Church by nature always looks to the Head, and, therefore, always behaves in a Supernatural manner.  Jesus loved, we love.  Jesus forgave, we forgive.  Jesus was one with the Father, we are one with the Father and each other.  Jesus healed, we heal.  Jesus saw into the hearts of people, we see into the hearts of people.  All that Christ did, we do, and more.  As Christ said, "even greater..."

12.  Why is it important that God's People gather?  Why does God want an Expression of Himself in Hickory?  Because it is the Purpose of God.  The Purpose is to cast out His enemy and restore His Rule, His Kingdom.  The Method is His Corporate Body in Unity, His Vessel.  His Purpose is our Purpose and Fulfillment.  This is our Purpose, this is His Method, O Family of God!

13.  The Body, the Church, is only those who feed on Christ, who know or want to know Him.  If you love and know Him even a little bit God gives you a hunger for His House, His People.  His House provides all we want and long for - love, value, importance, meaning and purpose, a strong but loving Heavenly Father,  a caring Church that watches us like a mother, a truly functional Family, with real brothers and sisters - the very desires of our heart, our Natural Habitat.

14.  If we in spirit and in truth walk with Him, we will be drawn to the Body, the Living Church, the Saints, Zion, the House, whatever you want to call it.  What a wonderful plan!  What a magnifi-cent near future we have!   As the world slides further and further into chaos there is a sure Safe Haven for God's People.  Amen!

15.  The End Time Church was promised by the Lord.  Hag.  2:9.  He will gather us soon!
