It has always been the intention of God to have a People.  As He said in Deut. 14:2 "The Lord has chosen you to be a People for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples who are on the face of the earth."  Isn't it wonderful that we are at that time in history that God is calling His People together?  There is no doubt that that is what's happening.  He will use His Web Site, because He clearly led to form it.  We treat it as such in all reverence.  Keep in touch weekly.

"Delight youself in the Lord, and He will give you desires of your heart." Ps. 34:4.  We are familiar with that Scripture.  One of most misunderstood, and abused verses in the Bible!  Isn't it true that we do not even know our own hearts.  Only God knows what we as human beings truly long for.  It is not about us!  He knows that what we really long for is intimacy with someone, to know, and be known, to love, and be loved, and to have purpose.  Not a new house, car or spouse.  Guess what?  He fulfills our real desires through intimacy with Him.

"Ecclesia - Citizens summoned by the legitimate government."  God will gather His People.  He is in the process of calling us now, in this season.  He is our legitimate government.  We don't know how, but we will know for sure when He summons us.  Isn't it wonderful that He knows how to build His Church, and call us together.

Friday, August 10

"Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done..." Mat. 6:10.  This prayer is offered every week all over the world, probably more than any other.  That actually occurs when Jesus with the Saints hand over the Kingdom to His Father after He returns to the earth.  At that time the Scripture will be fulfilled which says: "The kingdom of the world has become the Kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ..."  Think of it!  We actually partici- pate in returning the Kingdom that was lost back to God the Father.

How will we know when the LORD WANTS HIS PEOPLE TO GATHER?  We have no idea, but we know that we will know when the time comes.  This is God's web site, and He will show us His intentions, guaranteed!  If a crisis comes, and it will, the Family will want to get together.  It's natural, isn't it?

What is the meaning of "covenant by sacrifice"?  Ps. 50:5.  The New Birth is purely a gift of God.  Nothing deserved or earned - just a gift.  Covenant is another matter entirely.  It is a promise based on conditions.  If the conditions are met the outcome is sure.  God promises us great reward if we meet the conditions.  The reward is great, and the conditions are great!  He already offered His enormous sacrifice, and now we offer ours: all we are, and all we have.  Lk. 14: 26 & 33.  We are truly His Covenant People.

We want to say clearly that this is God's web site, and it is only a temporary solution to the need to communicate.  Yes, God is into social technology!  The web site is not to express our human opinion or prejudice over some Christian doctrine, or to rail against some worldly injustice.  We are mindful that we must say what the Holy Spirit is speaking to us.  Forgive us if we fall short.  It makes perfect sense that when the Lord would speak a word to His People that He would use His web site.  Until we gather as One.

How did God the Son experience the "Christian Life" in eternity past?  Though He was equal with God the Father, He was subservient to God the Father.  This was true because He beheld and drew on His Father; He was One with Him.  When He was God Incarnate as Jesus He did the same.  He perfectly beheld His Father in glorious fellow- ship, so He perfectly reflected Him.  BEING, OUT OF HIS NATURE.  How do we typically, but not correctly, live the Christian Life?  We memorize Bible verses, go to church, listen to sermons, take notes, attend prayer meeting, try to witness, try to tithe, try to be a good husband or wife, and try to be respectable citizens.  DOING, OUT OF OUR NATURE.  Just, maybe, Jesus knew the secret to authentic Christian living.  "In Thy Presence..."  Ps. 16:11.  "If we walk in the Light as He is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another."  I Jn. 1:7.  By being in His Presence we wonderfully become like Him!

God designed you to meet Him, and then to know Him.  If you are feeding on the Living Bread then you may be assured that your future includes the House of God.  God calls only those who truly know Him, or hunger to know Him, to be Living Stones in His House.  Living Stones aligned with the Chief Corner Stone.  You are not here in Hickory by accident.  God brought you here to be a part of that Great Sanctuary, a great light in our community.

The next holiday on God's calendar is the Feast of Trumpets, the 1st day of the 7th month.  From Jewish history we know trumpets were blown for 3 occasions.  1.  A convocation of the people.  2.  Before a battle.  3.  The coronation of the King.   September 17 is the Feast of Trumpets.  Wouldn't if be wonderful if God would blow His Trumpet and: 1.  Call His People together.  2.  So we could crown Christ as Head of the Church.  3.  So we can do battle with and defeat the enemy in the finished work of Christ!

Tuesday, October 2

You have not heard from us.  The simple reason is because we have not heard from the Lord.  He is working.  He knows what He is doing.  He knows when He will call us to gather unto His name.  The web site is just a temporary means to an end.  The whole point is the gathering, not the web site.  We are in the midst of the Feast of Tabernacles, signifying that the harvest has been collected, He tabernacles among us, and our joy is full.  We hold our breath, but we are patient.  The time is soon!

The whole idea behind the coming of Jesus Christ is to secure a Vessel.  What kind of Vessel?  An INVINCIBLE, GOD INCARNATE kind of Vessel!  A Vessel that can do the job, and accomplish Her mission!  Without the Vessel there is no victory: no testimony to the nations, no testimony to Israel, no recapture of the Kingdom, and no Bride for the Son, Jesus Christ!  But, of course, He will get His Vessel.  That is what we are waiting for, longing for.  And, of course, that is what is coming soon to our city!

A city with no government is no city.  A city with no Church is a city in desolation!  There is no greater tragedy than a city with no real Testimony to the reality of the Lord Jesus and His resurrection power.  If that be true, and it is, the greatest tragedy that exists in our city is the same: no real, unified, unmistakable Testimony.  A tragedy, yes, but God is not unaware.  He sees the yearning of His People.  He is calling us back from being scattered..."I will heal their land."

"...I will build My Church...", Matt. 16:18

The Lord is not slow concerning His promise.  He must first give over to death those who will later make up His Living Body.  For only they, who have been in the fiery furnace with Christ are fit to be His eyes, His hands, or His feet.  "They will be Mine, says the Lord of hosts, on the day that I prepare My own possession..." , Mal. 4:17.  Behold days are coming when Reality will take the place of religion, and jelousy for the glory of God will be the heart of His last days, glorious Church. 

Wednesday, November 7

As our friend Lazarus is, so is "our" church - it has fallen asleep.  If the Lord had been there it would not have died.  But Lazarus is dead.  When Jesus saw his lifeless body, He wept.  He then commanded the stone of unbelief to be removed and cried out, "Lazarus come forth."  And the one who had died came forth to a new life, so that many Jews who saw it believed in Jesus.  "...destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up."  Jn. 2:19

Wednesday, November 14

"...love one another..."  Jn. 15:12, 17.  The Church is not a building, but rather ordinary folks whom Jesus calls, "my friends".  He loves them, they love Him, and awakened by LOVE they love another. 

Monday, November 19

Waiting for the Lord is a process of dying to self.  It is painful and joyful at the same time.  Painful because the flesh is craving for action, but joyful because the spirit is hoping in God.  He who gives songs in the night will soon gather His Saints to Himself.  He will save them from mere religion to be His glory and praise in the earth.  "And it will be said in that day: behold this is our God for whom we have waited that He might save us.  This is the Lord for whom we have waited.  Let us rejoice and be glad in His salvation".  Isa. 25:9

Tuesday, December 4

"But the vessel that he was making of clay was spoiled in the hand of the potter; so he remade it into another vessel as it pleased the potter to make".  Jer. 18:4.

Like soft clay in the hand of a potter, so are God's people in His hand.  With great patience, He is making them into a brand new Vessel.  Since the challenges of the last days demand a vessel of an ultimate kind, it calls for self sacrifice and dependence even to the point of death.  But who is sufficient for these things?  Not even the best of us.  It is God who choses those who are weak, foolish, and despised of the world and molds them into one holy Vessel of Christ.  O Lord, indeed, we are clay and You our Potter, and all of us are the work of Your hand.

Only God can "Call a Meeting".  As we have shared God has called us to this Ministry.  We make every effort to only post on this site what God impresses upon us.  Hopefully, up to this point we have been on target. 

It is very interesting to note that we feel strongly that God is wanting to meet with His People soon. He has shown us that we are to meet on Fridays from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. sometime in the near future.  As we clearly understand only God can call a Meeting, His Meeting.  We are waiting on Him for His direction on this matter, where and when to start. 

We wanted to let you know what was happening.  Be encouraged.  God has a Plan for His People in Hickory!  It is Real.  It is Corporate.  It is soon!  Keep walking with Him, and you will be included.

It appears the Day has come, and that God has spoken.  We have waited longingly for it to arrive.  Of course, we should not be in the least surprised, because He told us that He would gather us into One Body, His Body.  All praise to Him for this wonderful Word!!  (See Special Announcement page)

God has made clear the location of the Gathering of His People.  We are to meet at the "Good" News Building, upstairs at the far west side of Union Square.

The Bus is up and running.  She is circulating around the city alert to those who desire to board.  She may pass your way often.  When you are clear that you must board wave her down.  She will stop and gladly receive you.  It is on The Bus that you will meet your Family.  Don't put it off.  Deal with it before God, and He will make it clear.

We have been declaring The Gospel of the Kingdom on Union Square every Tuesday and Thursday at 12:10 p.m. for 30 minutes or a little less.  God's affirmation has truly been deeply felt.  We are aware that the  demons are watching and shudder.  God has shown us that we are to continue through December 26.  Come and join us in this powerful and unprecedented declaration to the city.  It is a historical first, and this is just the beginning.  The Message is revolutionary, because it is unknown, and not understood.  It will perminently impact Hickory for the good from this day forward!  God will gather us soon, because He told us He would!!

Right now, even at this moment, we sense we are speaking the Word of the Lord to our brothers and sisters in Christ, the Body of Christ in Hickory.  As you might imagine, we are humbled and quite cautious, yet very eager and assured of what we are about to say to the Family of God as we have carefully waited on the Lord to speak to us.  Hear now and share our joy in what He is saying at this pivotal point in History!  

This is possibly the last post on the website.  Carefully read it.  It is rather lengthy.  A season in God's Economy is coming to a close.  There is a shift from a time of PREPARATION to the season of DEMONSTRATION!

This has been and continues to be a remarkable journey.  We sense that this part of our journey with you is about over, and a more glorious one is about to begin.  God made it clear to us that the gathering that He called last September on the 6th was the Conception of The Body of Christ in Hickory, which on the Jewish calendar is the week of The Feast of Trumpets.  He later showed us that 39 weeks later would be the Birth of The Body of Christ in Hickory, which according to the Jewish calendar would be the week of Pentecost.  That Friday being exactly 39 weeks, 9 months, from September 6!  We held our breath and waited on Him.  Progressively, we became more sure.  (Utter delusion or insanity if not true!)

Bottom line, this is what we sense God is saying to us as His People.  We will be gathering June 6, somewhere, as The Hickory Body of Christ tangibly, and in Reality.  When we meet we will not be Divided any longer,  and we will be meeting as One Body, in One Accord, in One Place as He told us we would!!  Prior to that we will be declaring The Gospel of the Kingdom for the first time, ever, to The City of Hickory at Union Square every Tuesday and Thursday just after 12:00 p.m. for 7 weeks beginning April 22.  (Actually, it is the 2nd time.  The first time not one person stood and listened in 14 sessions!  This did not bother us one bit, because we were aware that the demons and principalities were listening and shuddering.)

This Gospel, The Gospel of the Kingdom, has never been declared publicly in Hickory before with people listening.  God has kept this gospel hidden for nearly two millennia, and is now disclosing it to the Church.  It will be clear.  It will be understandable.  It will be powerful.  It will cause us to breathe a sigh of relief, and say: "This is what I have been waiting to hear; we have a mission, we have a goal!  We have a purpose that makes sense!"

Specific information will be posted on the Special Announcements Page.  We are grateful to God for His wonderful leading in this Sovereign, Kingdom journey, the Grand Purpose and Plan of God.  Amen!  Bring it on, Lord!!!  Bring back the captivity of Zion!!!  Thank you, Lord.  You will, because You said You would!  It's a done deal.
