Hickory Body of Christ

Exactly 7 years ago this week God did an extraodinary thing in our city that we wanted to share with the Body of Christ in Hickory.  A declaration was made at the square in downtown Hickory before a group of people.  It was a declaration made by God to the pricipalities and powers of the air over the city.  It was delivered by an ordinary man, but it was prophetic of what was to come!  Except for a few minor changes for clarity the declaration is verbatum as follows:

   I have a message tonight.  I wrote it out because I have something very pointed to say, and I want no missteps.  My message is not primarily directed toward you, though I strongly urge you to listen.  It is directed toward the angels - not the angels that we normally think of, but the fallen angels that control the cities of our world and even our city, whether we understand it or not.  The principalities and powers of this city are on notice.  God's People are going to displace you.  We are rightly in charge.  You are not!  The reason we are taking over and coming into our own is because we are beginning to understand Communion, Blood Covenant.  You have understood it for many centuries, and have feard that some day we Believers might understand it.  For in the day we understand, it is all over for you. 

   Blood Covenant is a very ancient and solume rite.  It takes at least 2 parties to make a coven-    ant.  Each party must fully understand the stipulations of the agreement.  When it is agreed upon it is solumnly validated through death, through blood.  An animal sacrifice was offered and divided meaning that the 2 parties understood the consequences of not keeping the covenant..  Each party walked between the sacrifice signifying that the covenant would be kept even unto death.

   God made a covenant with Abraham.  God had much to offer Abraham; Abraham did not have much to offer God.  But God required and had Abrahams heart, which is all God needed and wanted.  How was the covenant validated?  God told Abraham to kill an animal and divide it.  God put Abraham to sleep, and I believe He carried Abraham between the sacrifice to validate the Covenant.  Abraham could not keep his part of the covenant so God carried him.  All that God promised is ours if we keep covenant, which He did for us by carrying us - we just give Him our hearts in humility, and we do that by being in His Presence, communing with Him.  That is why it is called communion.  We commune and He changes us, He carries us.  It's not work; it is just fellowship, intimacy.

   Will you grasp this?  Will you see this in reality?  If you will we will take the city!  Angels beware!

It is true!  The enemy of God and of our souls has known for a long time that when we truly connect, are in communion, that his time is short.  There is a sense that that time is almost upon us.  We are living in a new age, or about to!  The Body of Christ will gather in Hickory.  She will mature.  She will overcome the forces of evil in our city.  She will triumph.  She will testify to the principalities and powers of the air, and to the wonderful citizens of our city.  They will see it with their own eyes.  We will see it with our own eyes!
